My broadband has been dropping out frequently to the extent that the mysky app won't open.

Broadband keeps dropping out. Orange lights on the box. Can't even test the broadband in the app. Of course when I can get back into the app there is nothing wrong any more. I work from home and have multiple meetings scheduled today so this is a major issue for me.

@Turbinejag first point the test reports known faults and tests the link to your hub when it is working so it cannot detect an intermittent fault which causes the line to drop. You need to report the issue yourself to Sky to make that simple I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.

Second point thst you choose to use what is sold as a domestic briadband service is your business but gives you zero priority. The standard Service Level offered by Openreach is a fix within 2 working days after report. If you need a better SLA you can buy business connections that offer those at a price, most cheaper small business packages, including Sky's Connect, offer a mobile fallback instead. If working from home have a plan B as occasional loss of connection is a risk you need to manage.

@Guyfawkes Yours is tge third of fourth post of similar issues most probable cause is bad weather. Contact Sky to get the fault checked out but Openreach will be very busy unfortunately.

Re: My broadband has been dropping out frequently to the extent that the mysky app won't open.

Last time we had problems it took me four days to actually get to talk to someone who actually listened and not reading of a prompt card, then to be told a visit from Openreach was necessary which took another two weeks.

When the engineer arrived and tested everything he couldn't find a fault. When he left, two day after the issue came back.

Customer Services are non existent to be honest unless you want to buy extra packages. A laugh.
