My Wi-Fi looks good but certain things aren’t connecting

My Wi-Fi signal looks good. All lights on. T WhatsApp just continually tries to connect on mine and my wife's phone and my sons switch won't connect to Nintendo online. I've rebooted WiFi and also poked the factory reset button. Router has loaded up fine again. Skys connected but same problem with the same devices. Any ideas?

@Leroys85 check the setting on Briadband Shield parental filter is not blocking the switch connecting - log into My Sky and check product options where if youbarectgecaccount holder can alter the settings.

It was the broadband shield. Figured it out last night. Have altered it and now it works. Thanks for your reply though. 👍

Re: My Wi-Fi looks good but certain things aren’t connecting

Hi,

What did you change your settings to? Ive tried but it hasnt made a difference. My laptop loses connection when Im in a call on Teams if I try to connect to any other programs at the same time.
I recently installed a Qmini in the room which is supposed to act as a booster but seems to have actually caused problems instead.
Thanks

Yes I changed my settings on broadband shield from child friendly to teen friendly and that seemed to resolve the problem straight away.
