This was apparently due to the global IT meltdown, but surely things should be back to normal now

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@white-cross the checker is quite tempromental but the issue last Friday does not appear the cause. You can see the speeds yourself from the hub if it is one of the okder black type they are in the connection stats screen see Find your Sky Broadband router statistics
If it continues call Sky but normally the test sorts itself after a few days.
