My Sky Hub parcel was stolen.

I do not know what to do.I am in the process of moving houses and i signed up with Sky.I never really checked my email last week but I saw that Royal mail delievered  the parcel and left it at the back of the house,since i had not finalized  my move.Now i cannot find the parcel and its obvious someone stole it.What do i need to do now contact Royal Mail?Sky ? and in such cases what usually happens because i feel it was reckless of them to just leave a parcel in the open.

Have you spoken to Royal Mail to find out if they have actually delivered and if they did where they did leave it ?

@nmaketiwa Always difficult, but posties will try to leave it in a kind off secure area, fact that you did not look is not the posties problem!

Yes they did leave it because they sent me a photo,but the safe area was  just at the back of the garage wall.In normal circumstances I would have found it but I have not completed my house move.Its a great shame because there installers are supposed to come on Friday for broadband installation.

Not wishing to possibly state the obvious but have you checked with the current occupants (if they are still there) or your new neighbours. Someone may have taken it in due to the recent rain/storms.

I know but I am moving houses so difficult to be at two places at the same time.So does it mean i have to buy another one at my own expense?I wish i had not signed that damn contract before I moved in.

The house is currently empty.I will have to check with my neighbour thanks.

@nmaketiwa You can call sky and see if they are understanding, but would for sure double check it is gone before everything else! If they do go down the we need to check it all out first you will have a problem come Friday!
