My Sky Broadband Hub is having issues recently.

We've had to for many years, SR203 model for Broadband and Talk. Recently when browsing, gaming or on a call it will have issues and drop out a lot. Calls will scramble for a second.

I have used the Service checker multiple times and says everything is okay in my area, okay with my Hub and okay with my set up. But it's not okay lol. This started happening maybe on last Sunday? It's been a few days now of choppy connection. I feel I need a replacement Sky Broadband Hub.

I have been in diagnostics on the Hub, but have not run anythung there.

It doesn't seem to be the Hub. It might be something outside. It just the service checker says everything is ok, which is baffling.

Yes this is the service checker I mention and I also clicked on the broadband part for it to test that. It's saying everything is fine. I did phone Sky but cannot get in contact with an actual person. Only the Bot that says there is something wrong with my set up. But nothing has changed in my set up for many months. This started on Sunday for reasons unknown.

@DavidB4 Although you may not think so, when you are checking everything is logged sky end so they know you are doing so, could be that they are now being pro-active, you are going to have to call and speak to someone to get to the bottom of it all.

Okay an update, I ran the service checker again for my broadband. A slightly confusing result since it said that there were no known issues in my area, then when connecting to my hub it had a problem, THEN it said there's a problem outside and they'll send an openreach engineer to investigate the cabinet in my area.

So either I'm the first person to encounter the issue outside that's reported it over the past 5 days or the service checker needs to somehow be more accurate. There have been times where I'd go to run the checker and it'd just wouldnt load, I'd refresh the page and then it'd load and say "Everything looks good!" and then I palm my face.

Also Sky needs to go back to employing some actual people to talk to. The Bot on the phone is not good enough. While it did tell me there is an issue, it said the issue is with my set up, which now the service checker told me there is a problem outside and booked an engineer.
