My SKy Activation date changed from 12 November to 21 November

My SKy Activation date changed from 12 November to 21 November. I am switching broadband. Sky gave a date initially which was favourable to me whuch is 12 November but now they delayed it to 21 November without any intimation. I want the connection on 12 November. I do not want to delay please help.

@Sarmistha  The final date of installation is out of sky's control I'm afraid as they are dependent on openreach 

 

you may now be entitled to delayed provision compensation as detailed on the link below but I'm afraid that the 12 is now lost

My house phone doesn't work none of them work because of the broadband thing

@Angi3 this is a compleltly different issue than the one the thread was dealing with. First step is to check your phone is plugged in coorrectly. If you are still using a copper phone line for broadbannd that can beceither the phone socket the hub connects to or to the hub itself try both to see which gives you a dialling tone. With full fibre the phone will only work using the socket onnthe hub.
