My I phone keeps not being able to download gmail asking me to check settings etc.

My iPhone keeps saying it is unable to download my emails from gmail account.  This is intermittent and I access my email

by turning WiFi off and using 4G data. 
but just now it has not downloaded gmail again but when I went back into it it did download. This is very frustrating.

You either need to disable private relay on your iPhone or disable Sky Shield on your Sky account
