Moving house with Sky

I had to move house in the middle of my Sky Superfast broadband contract. This was due to our landlady selling our house (so not something we wanted). Our new house has access to fibre and as a result I had to switch my contract to a full fibre broadband. 

At our previous address I was paying £28 a month and now I am paying £45. How is it fair that I now have to pay nearly double for a move that wasn't

@Isobel27 Did sky move your broadband and all that was associated with the move?

Moving home will not impact your TV contract, it will continue as normal.

If you have phone and broadband however, this will be a new contract as Sky have to cancel the line at the current address and take a new one in the new address.
