I am going to move home this Sunday and I have checked the boardband service is avaliable in the new home. Do I need to call the hotline to inform (please let me know the phone number and shortcut) since I remember I didn't need to call the engineer when I moved to existing home by simply plugging in the modem and then I boardband is collected. Thanks.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Unfortunately that only works where the Home Move has been booked with the ISP at least two weeks in advance and Openreach have carried out the reconfiguration necessary to supply broadband from that ISP to the new address. Broadband doesn't follow an ISP router around the national telecoms network: it's supplied by that ISP on a particular individual circuit to the property itself. It also makes no difference if the previous occupants had the same ISP: the lead time required doesn't change.
