Moving broadband main portal

Hi we need to move the main internet plug socket and we arent sure how to do this?the main socket that our broadband box is plugged into is in a room we are turning into a nursery and we dont want it to remain in there and would like a new one fitting downstairs? I look forward to hearing back from you 🙂

@Rosie90 Sky cannot match a post to an account so you will have to call Sky to get a price on moving your master socket assuming your servicecis not a full fibre service. Sky can usually get a master socket moved and will either use their own engineers or arrange for Openreach to do the job. Although techinically a simple job avoid doing the job yourself or paying someone yourself as the master socket is Openreach's property as is the wiring to it.

 

Full fibre is more complicated but again call Sky to discuss the options.
