Moving House

I am hoping to move to a new build property in the next few months. The new place doesnt allow access for sky broadband, as there is no openreach infrastructure- it is all done by another company who we have to use.

If Sky cannot provide a service there, do I need to pay out the remainder of my contract with them? I will be keeping Sky Q, it is ONLY the broadband which will be an issue.

@Cosam1001

From a similar post this morning it should say in your contract

"If you change Address:

(ii) If any Product which you are subscribing to is not available at your new Address you may
either end this Contract or select another Product that is available there in which case this Contract will continue."

Which i take to mean that you can end the contract without penalty

@Cosam1001 It's possible Sky will ask you to pay the remainder of the contract as it's not their fault you are moving to a place they have no infastructor, the only way to know formaure is to call and ask.

-------- Please note i am not a Sky employee ----------

@Cosam1001 you maybe able to do a deal with them by agreeing to a new Q contract or similar. Sky can be fairly accommodating if asked nicely.
