Moving House - Existing Sky TV package but no Broadband yet

Hi

We are due to move house in early Nov (date tbc). We currently have a skyq and minibox setup that we wanto migrate across and that 'seems' to be straight forwards.

We currently have virgin media broadband however that is not available in our new house, so for the move we wanted to ADD a sky broadband package and installation.

What is the process for setting this up please?

@MartinD1969If you are doing a home move with Sky for your TV. While in the process in the move if you want to order Sky broadband do this at the same time. Giving you 2 weeks, but this also depends on the people staying at the new property just now.

Thanks for the response - so just add sky broadband to my package - organise the install - was just worried about 'which address'

@MartinD1969When you are ready to do your home move, if people are staying at your new address speak to them to find out their situation with the broadband they have at the property just now. This will stop the order being cancelled as there is already broadband being supplied at the address. As the owners then might put a stop order on it.

So it is best to talk to them and then Sky. But you said you are with Virgin, you will have to cancel that yourself  when you are moving out. But would give yourself a grace preiod in case any problems arise in the move.
