Moved to fibre - issues connecting to web sites and blocking basic functions eg photo upload
We were an existing Sky Broadband customer and recently moved to fibre. We can no longer access multiple basic web sites e.g. Youtube videos wont play or upload photos and documents to the likes of Booking.com. for our business.
The shield has been turned off but still the problems persist. The speed may be faster but the functionality so far isn't acceptable. Any help to resolve is much appreciated.

@valentke Sky do not block sites other than via the broadband Shield which customers can control so it is unkikely this is a broadband issue as such. Have you run a speed test on the device concerned as a poor wifi speeds could be an issue.? It is worth editing the network setting on the device affected simply changecthecDNS setting from automatic andcadd twonaddresses to the list which are 8.8.8. And 8.8.4.4 whichbare Googles public DNS service which is fast and will exclude Sky's own DNS being the culprit.

Hi, the shield is "off" and we have the issue on multiple devices (Macbook, laptop, phones). The issue has only occurred since changing to fibre. Having scrolled the sky community we arent alone.

@valentke with 6 million Sky broadbandcustomers you will inevitably find someone with a similar symptoms but whether the cause is the same is far from certain. I have a Sky connection myself and have been answering posts on the forum for over 8 years and your's is not a common issue. If Sky blocked sites like You Tube or Booking.com this forum would be inundated.
If your devices can access any internet sites they are networked. An issue with a single site like the upload site for Booking.com could be down to the IP address you are using being blocked for some reason this does happen occasionally. You can try powering down the hub for an hour which should cause you to get a different pubkic IP address. When you access You Tube are you using an app or a browser?

Re You Tube, its via browser. Sounds not blocked only video.
Weve been using Booking.com as a host for circa a decade and have never had these issues until the day we were connected to fibre. Seems an incredible coincidence that both these sites stopped functioning on the very same day.
