Moved from Now to Sky and speed has dropped

I had to cancel my Now broadbansd and then take new service from Sky to get the best deal.

My minimum speed with Now was 14 but was getting 20-22.

My minimum speed with Sky is also 14 but I'm only getting 15

Their response to why I'm not getting 20-22 like I was with Now (which is part of Sky), "it's more that your minimum guarantee speed of 14 so that's it".

I'm nearly at the end of the "stablisation period" but it's never gone above 15 so doubt it will after.

Any reason why this could be? Sky Customer Service arn't really very helpful!

@IT2 Looks like you reset or the hub did it just over 9 hrs ago, nothing alarming on the stat's, and you are up now at 17Mb/s 2Mb/s Down/Up rating, when did you say you changed or the service was activated!

Re: Moved from Now to Sky and speed has dropped

Cancelled Now about 2 weeks ago and then Sky was activated on 19th June after no service at all for a few days. Couldn't just switch provider from Now to Sky because when I tried it said I already had a Sky line so had to leave and then join from no service.

@IT2 No way that I know how and what method that your line is connected to by/inside your home, if you are direct on a OR Master socket type 5c is the best, the older master socket via a hanging or plugged in ADSL filter, or even connected to an extension socket, can say you have a very long line from your home to the green cabinet connection, with the required 10 day's leave it alone and let it try and work out what is best and get to it's optimal working.

But your stat's show everything that is there, no hiding that fact, up  09:51:58 since the last and what i would say either switched off/on or the FW update push to your hub....
