Mobile phone wifi and reception

I can't get a reception on my

mobile and the wifi is weak

@Deborah+Skelton1 your phone should connect like any other device to your Sky wifi. Wifi signal strength will be lost the further your are from the hub depending on what solid objects are in the way. You should get a strong signal in the same room as the hub which should be out in the open on a surface so you dont lose signal strength due to furniture etc.

 

One room away the speed will be slower how much speed is lost depends on how your home is built a plasterboard partition is not much of an issue. A brick wall will lose more speed and a thick stone wall can block all of thecsignal. Many homes need more than a single free.router to getvusable wifi in all rooms. Sky will sell you their WiFi max bundle https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or you can buy your own wifi kit.
