I would try changing the WiFi security mode in your My Sky app under the router settings. If that doesnt work it may be that the adapter isnt dual band in which case it may struggle to connect. I would also check for any driver updates for your WiFi NIC.

How old is the PC? Its possible its NIC isnt compatible with the newer WiFi standards that the Sky Max hub uses such as WPA3.

Re: Message "wifi doesn't have a valid IP configuration "
Possibly as its 14 years old!
Just updated to a win 11 pc and was passing the old one to my grand kids as a homework station but they wouldn't be able to connect via ethernet without adaptors.
Is there anyway around this?

Re: Message "wifi doesn't have a valid IP configuration "
Thanks for that, I've changed settings to wpa2 and it connected straight away.
Now I know it's the card I will get a wpa3 compatible one.
Very much appreciated for your guidance.
