Low speeds on broadband
Why is the signal poor in different parts of the house despite a WiFi extender. I have a photo of the signal strength in my kitchen which demons that it is is 51.5 for download and 41.9 for upload
despit having an extender in the hall which is close to the kitchen. I also get similar results which is
a maximum of 3 metres from this extender ?

Re: Low speeds on broadband
Wireless 'extenders' can only work with the signal they are receiving, and aren't able to overcome fundamental physics regarding WiFi attenuation over distance and through building fabric: for that task, Powerline networking is a more viable approach.
