Lots of dropping out, 403 Errors and dodgy connection
Hi, my internet has been fine for over a year, but over the last few days, it's dropping out a lot and also I'm getting a lot of websites that won't let me onto them, on both my phone and my pc on the network - but if I turn off WiFi on my phone it lets me onto the webpage via mobile data, so it's got to be something to do with my broadband. It's intermittent, so if it's slow, or my TV is buffering, or my Alexa says that it's not on the internet, or if my music streaming just stops making any music I'll do a fast.com internet test speed check, and it might say 0MBps for a few seconds (or very low KBps), and then it might go up to 60MBps after a short while. Other times when I'm not having problems the same test jumps up to a decent amount of MBPS in less than a second. Any ideas, any issues, do I need to try a new router, is it outside the building? Help please - I'm struggling to work effectively from home at the moment- thanks

@DAVE_COOPER Have you re-stated the rotuer recently to see if this solves the issue?
If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

Re: Lots of dropping out, 403 Errors and dodgy connection
Yes ... I've tried that several times (both hitting the reset button and also powering it off for several minutes at a time ... it's not that). I keep doing internet test speeds (fast.com) and sometimes there's 0MBps for >30 seconds, but it eventually comes back and the numbers go up then quickly and it gets up to about 60MBps. This is when the music stops, or the tv freezes or whatever (that it drops down to zero).

Re: Lots of dropping out, 403 Errors and dodgy connection
@DAVE_COOPER it could be an issue with the DNS system which can be caused by a dodgy server port at Sky's end. Powering down the hub for an hour ususlly forces a change of connection so is worth trying.
