Computer uses passthrough plug and ethernet cable to sky broadband router.
ONT uses passthrough plug to sky router.RoFixed issue with Skybox internet access only for Computer internet access to dissappear.
Fixed computer internet access only for Sky Q box to lose internet access.
Repeat fix and computer losses access to the internet, rinse repeat.
Cannot get both devices to connect to the internet at the same time.
DO I need a second passthrough plug from sky broadband router for a second device that would be using an ethernet cable from router box to wall socket?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Chris9612 if by pass through plug you mean poerline adapters then that is your issue. The WAN traffic from the ONT to to the hub must be kept separate from the LAN traffic from the Hub to devices like your PC. The system should be a straight Ethernet cable from the ONT to the hub it maybe possible to use powerline connectors in place of a cable but then I would not use a second set of connecters to connect devices as there will probably cause interference.

Well that will be an issue as the hub is in another room.

Find out more@Chris9612 there is no way round the fact that WAN traffic (Wide Area Network)from the ONT to the hub has to be kept completly separate from the traffic on the LAN (your home network). Two separate powerline networks might work but personally I wouldn't trust that they wont interfere.
