Note that a Guaranteed Minimum Download Speed is absolutely not the same thing as a promise of continuous uninterrupted service: no ISP can 'guarantee' that over a single delivery method.
Where medical monitoring equipment is involved I'd suggest considering the use of an ISP which offers automated failover to a cellular data connection.
GMDS is a 'guarantee' of a small refund if a specified speed is not achievable, and the option of early exit without penalty.
