Looking to replace my sky router to give me more parental controls

HI,

I am looking to replace my sky router with ASUS DSL-AX82U I currently have sky full fibre 150 which uses network type MER and I also have sky Q with 2 mini boxes, I just want to confirm that this modem/router will work with by BB and I will be able to connect my sky devices before buying it.

My sky wifi coverage is good and speeds are around 140mps but the lack of parental controls for downtime are what I need.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thansk in advance.

@Oracle77 if you are in the UK on a FTTC partial fibre service that router should work. You wil need to configure it to use DHCPv4 Option61 with a string of user anything@skydsl and any password you like

Sky do now provide a hub that offers parental controls as part of their WiFiMax package see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

@Oracle77

And note that Sky Talk Internet Calls only function with a Sky Broadband Hub or Max Hub.
