Morning all,
Just moved to Sky Broadband today and the supplied connecting cable between the phone socket and router is a bit too short. Can I just ask somebody to confirm that I need a BT phone line plug to RJ11 and should it be 2 or 4 wire and crossover or not?
Would this be suitable: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crossover-Telephone-Extension-Virgin-British-White/dp/B081F98CCM
Thanks.

@Essex+Steph did you get the cable you found on Amazon and does it work?
I have the same issue, moved into a new flat and the phone socket and the plug are positioned in useless positions. 😁 That's why I would love to get a longer phone cable to replace "the grey cable".

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Myrthl all you need is a simple dsl cable which can be bought online in whatever length you need as long as it has a rj11 plug on each end. The link above is for a crossover cable which is a bit odd it may work but no idea why it is described like that.
