Let down by OpenReach

Today was the fourth time I have been let down by Open Reach not turning up to install Sky Broadband!  Seriously considering not bothering and finding an alternative supplier.  All the fast fibre cabling is installed in my property so I don't understand why this is such an issue.

bery poor and doesn't inspire confidence for the service going forward.

Are you saying you already have an Openreach ONT ("fibre modem") at the address, or an Openreach master socket, or ethernet cabling?

Which Sky Broadband product have you ordered?

Thank you for your reply.  I have an open reach G Fast box and have ordered Sky ultra fast broadband.

OK, a G.fast face plate on a master socket: is it 'Ultrafast 150' you've ordered?  That's the only Sky Ultrafast product which can be delivered over G.fast.

In theory that should be self-installation, with Sky sending out a Broadband Hub in advance of the activation date.  There should be no need for Openreach attendance at the address if it already has a G.fast faceplate.
