Lenovo laptop will not connect to sky max wifi

Any one else having problems connecting their laptop to sky max hub does not recognise sky wifi

May be because it on wpa3 change it to wpa2 in the sky app and try that

@Mandy601 what model laptop are you trying to connectvand what operating system is it running?

My Laptop is Lenovo G50, won't connect to the Sky Max Hub which was installed in October, Sky are being unhelpful, have tried everything.

That's a vintage model from 2016.

 

With a white Max Hub you may need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3 to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.


You can use the same settings to disable the 5Ghz WiFi band.

Have tried WPA3 to WPA2 it doesn't help.

 

Where do i find the 5ghz info and what do I change it to?
