Leaving Sky Broadband and Talk

I reported my broadband as it kept going down - to Sky - many months ago and I have reported it many times to Sky since without any redress.

They converted me to full fibre as they inferred was on a bad  copper one but its still regularly goes down. Three different modems/hubs later they have not improved it although they have sent engineers out. One told me he hadn’t been trained to deal with it, aother said it was ok now. It still regularly goes down another that I had a wire plugged in wrong. Still no improvement.

I always miss calls as they go straight to answerphone ever since the full fibre has been put in. I'm fed up of reporting it to them and I've given up, on Broadband also.

Broadband sometimes works again after turning everything off for about 15 mins. But it doesn't always work. straight away except the followig day it is back on again so there is nothig they will do then. But calls in never work unless they go on to leave a message.

Now I'm almost at the end of my Broadband and landline contract and they say that they want to put it up from £39.00 to £50.00pm which SAVES me money.

I'm looking elsewhere although I know all the different company’s use the same BT basic system for broadband..

I left Sky TV for reasons of cost,  May 2024.
