Laptops won't connect to Sky Hub.. but will connect to WiFi extender..?
I hope someone can help.
We have a home full of devices, and all including iPhones are connecting fine to the Sky hub. All excet the Laptops (both of them). They will connect but state there is 'no valid ip' and have no access to the internet. One of them worked for a time and now has stopped. Spoke to Sky and they say there is nothing stopping us connecting as far as they are concerned.
Does anyone else have this issue? If so, did you recolve it?
I need to work from home sometimes, and this is prohibitve. Never had this problem with the BT connection, but we switched to Sky 😞

Just to add, this has been attempted by WiFi and direct ethernet, with the same result.
But they will connect via an extended?? Perplexed.

On your laptops, systematically work through the list of possible fixes here - https://www.wikihow.com/Ethernet-Doesn%27t-Have-a-Valid-IP-Configuration
and see if any of them fix your issue.
My guess would be the 'Renew Your IP Addess' and 'Check your IP Settings' sections are the most likely.

@arodrigues as a guess it could be the IP range Sky hubs use 192.168.0.1 as the gateway and use an address range 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.254 while BT use 192.168.1.254 as the gateway and 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1. 253 range.
Easiest way is set the Laptop to get its settings from the hub.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
