Just upgraded to super fast - the fasted - its actually worse?

I have been having issues watching films and programmes and kids were having issues with playstation etc, so I have upgraded to the superfast, the fasted broadband with Sky apparently, however it is now worse. the phones are now slow, but were not before - all TV apps are slow, like netfox, BBC iplayer etc. I am very frustrated and canot seem to get talking to anyone.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Dens1 Superfast is by no means the fastest service Sky offers as that title covers services over partial fibre connections giving up,to 80Mb/s down but are often be lower if your copper phone line is longer than 200m.. Full Fibre connections support a range of products loosly called  Ultrafast and can give speeds  up to 900Mb/s.

However increasing speed to the hub does not always mean speeds on your devices improve as the speed of the WiFi connection in your home may be the limitation. If you have a black Sky hub post its connection stats as forum members should be able to use those tongive further advice see Sky Hub statistics

It's the white box we just upgraded to. Everything looks good expect the speed to the hub? This days poor.
