I upgraded to 500 MBS today I just done a test the money getting 200

@Will881 For a wireless test and possible at peak time that may just be about correct, you shouls say how you are testing, and the sky information about speed below!.

You don't say if this is over WiFi or direct connection.

Speed tests should always be carried out with a computer connected to the router with a cable. 

This will give you the most reliable result and it is also what the ISP is judged upon for their 'upto...' speeds.

Wi-Fi speed will always be lower than the wired speed due to a number of factors, 200mbs over WiFi is reasonable. 

Also note that speed is not the only thing that impcts your broadband performance.

@Waveman Wireless Wi-Fi testing is fine, and FF500 is not that hard to get to speed testing wise, you just have to be aware off everything else going on and that the CSMA/CA is working well and all the devices can be trusted, see the link to couple of pics earlier!

When you say you have full fibre is your  router connected to  a phone socket or do you have an optical network terminal box like this 

 this is full fibre to the property,  if you are this on the copper phone line then you  are on  full fibre to the  cabinet then from there to your  house it's  copper phone line
