Just had telecare put in now internet is very slow

I have just had telecare installed but now Internet is so slow it times out when trying to check cctv and can't get signal at all in one room where my Son works from home.  I have sky guaranteed but would telecare installed effect thus

How does the telecare unit connect to the internet & devices? It may be that its creating a crowded WiFi space and slowing all your other devices down.

If it connects to your router via ethernet it may be that its causing LAN collisions.

Hi thank you for your reply, no router is downstairs and unit upstairs so no cable

I would check with them what kind of communications it makes wirelessly both inbound & outbound. It may be that you need to switch your routers WiFi channel
