Issues with PS4 connections lagging or kicking them off

I have recently changed over to Fibre Ultrafast with Sky, previously I had just 40-60 speed with my last Sky broadband. I have 2 boys who both have a PS4 and we never had any problems in the years we had this now it is everyday they are being kicked off due to saying not connected or it is lagging. At the minute my boys are extremely aggravated due to since switching something is happening and cuts them out midgame. I also have a sky booster in their room that seems to be a waste of time.

Any help would be much appreciated before my boys loose their patience currently all i get is that new Sky internet you have is absolutely crap.

@Kelou24 having a Sky booster in the room is actually probably part of the issue. To work properly the booster is required half way between where the hub is located and the area needing to boost. Boosters need a decent connection to the router to work properly if situated in areas with poor wifi they make things worse not better. Try moving the booster to see if that helps.

Re: Issues with PS4 connections lagging or kicking them off

Thanks for the reply but this was happening before i tried the booster. Never had any issue before so thought i would try the booster as we never used it last time I have moved it to see if that helps.
