Wondering if anyone can help me. MY laptop has been having issues connecting to my Sky Q router via ethernet. Wireless works absolutely fine no problems. When trying ethernet it attemps to identify a network but then states No Internet. I've tried with the WiFi on my laptop turned off, checked that the laptop IP isn't blocked on the router settings, trying static IPs/DNS, tried Auto IP/DNS to no avail. Both ports are working fine as I have had the Xbox One connected via ethernet fine.
To note the laptop connects to a friends router via ethernet fine and to my work router fine via ethernet. Any suggestions? Happ to answer any questions.

Can you help me with a couple of things to help figure out what the issue is
- A screenshot of your IP & DNS config - Static
- The message on your laptop when the ethernet cable is connected
- What shows in the browser when you try and access a website

Thanks for your response, the IP and DNS config I was using was the details taken from my Sky Q router settings. Forgive me as I am not exactly advanced at this networking stuff, only going by what i've researched so far. See other requested screenshots below:

Does look to be something wrong. This may sound strange but the ethernet cable you are using... is it the same one that works in the Xbox? I ask this because the Sky router can be very picky on what ethernet cables work with it.

It's not but i've tried that one and it does the same thing and have tried vice versa with the ethernet cable in the laptop with the xbox and works fine. It is very strange and im stumped to say the least. I've also tried the one that came with the router and is the same as well

In that case before you troubleshoot the laptop any further its worth seeing if changing the ethernet mode on your router as it may allow better compatiblity.
To change the ethernet mode use a device that is actually connecting to the router okay i.e. not your laptop.
- Type 192.168.0.1 into the browser address bar
- Click ethernet on the navigation bar
- Login with the username admin & password sky
- Change the ethernet type to fast
- Click apply
- Reconnect your laptop and see if anything has changed.
