Is there a sky q hub that supports recent gen wifi, e.g. wifi6

Several laptops now come with "wifi6". My Sky Q hub is probably more than 10 years old design. It has a 5G signal as well as 2.4 (i think). Are these settings related to the new laptop capability.?

Note I have only FTTC so 50Mbps and so not sure if I should be too worried.

Any signposts to help me understand appreciated.

What is current standard for sky q hub?

There are approximately 10 devices wifi connected and 2 wired.

The Q Hub was released in late 2015.  The next model was the 2019 Sky Broadband Hub.

The Q Hub is 802.11ac ('WiFi 5') so has 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz WiFi (as is the Broadband Hub)

The 2023 Max Hub is 802.11ax, aka WiFi 6.

Hmm. So recontracted last week. Now wondering if I should have asked for a newer hub.

Superfast 80 is my plan. The article mentions superfast35. I seem to have lost a lot of in contract discounts even though I'm classed as a platinum VIP.

Oh well.

Realistically, WiFi 6 brings little benefit when the internet connection (at a maximum of 80Mbs then reduced by copper line distance to the fibre cabinet) is the real bottleneck.
