Re: Is the white router SR 213 - 02 faster or better than the black sr 203
The Hub model makes no difference to the broadband speed arriving at the address.
The Max Hub is WiFi 6 (802.11ax) rather than the WiFi 5 (802.11ac) of the Sky Broadband Hub so in theory it's capable of faster wireless for WiFi 6-compliant client devices: this is really only relevant for addresses served by top-end fibre-optic broadband connections (500Mbs and 'Gigabit' FTTP) though.
As part of the 802.11ax specification, the Max Hub can do WPA3 encryption which is 'better' than the WPA2-PSK of the Broadband Hub. WPA2-PSK is still considered to be adequate by everyone except Apple.
Sky says the Max Hub can handle considerably more client devices than its predecessor.
If the WiFi Max add-on is subscribed to, the Max Hub gains Parental Controls, 'pod' booster loan and supposedly better internet security.
