Is the only way to contact sky via phone call? Every time I call I'm waiting around 40 minutes for someone to answer.
If there going to up my bill it's obviously not to pay towards more staff!!

@Busted71 Sky's lines are busy but queuing times are shorter early in the day or often in the later evening.
If you explain what you need to talk to Sky about forum super users can escalate your post to a team who support the forum but as they cannot deal with all matters we are asked to check that they can help before doing so.

Thanks.
I need to move packages or cancel my broadband, both of which I can't seem to do without calling someone.
I'm on payg and Everytime I call I'm on hold for 30 - 40 mins .

@Busted71
To cancel Sky Broadband and Sky Talk totally, or if you’re moving to a provider like Virgin Media or City Fibre etc who don’t use the Openreach set up, you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days, but if you are still in the initial 18 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
If you are changing to another provider who also uses the Openreach infrastructure then join up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf.
Return packaging will be sent out to you near the end of the notice period. Remember to keep any proof of posting indefinitely.

To remove part of your Sky Q/+ TV package you will need to contact Sky and give 31 days notice. Be aware if you have 'in contract' discounts you may not be able to remove them. Also make sure cancellation of a certain add-on doesn’t cancel another discount. You can either call or use the messaging service to cancel this

@Busted71
In that case this link explains the process if you’re eligible for Sky Broadband Basics.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-social-tariff
The Sky account holder needs to be claiming Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Income Support, Income based Jobseekers Allowance or Income based Employment Support Allowance. These are the only qualifying benefits and in order for Sky to carry out checks with DWP they will need your NI number. The social tariff is for Sky Broadband Superfast 35 with an average download speed of 36Mb/s and the Sky Talk Pay As You Go tariff (ie: all calls are chargeable). It does not offer a discounted Sky Talk plan.
Broadband Basics is only available to customers who already have Sky Broadband and to add the Sky Mobile offer, you’ll need to be taking Sky Broadband Basics, and:
a) Already have Sky Mobile and a 3GB data plan.
b) Or you can add a new 3GB data plan with Sky Mobile.
If you are eligible you’ll need to call Sky to join. There is no equivalent offer for TV. The social tariff lasts 18 months and then reverts to the full cost but if you’re still eligible you will then need to re-apply.
