You would also think they would at least post on twitter to acknowledge network down. You would at least think they would communicate given they are a communication company and at least spare their customers tearing their networks apart trying to understand the issue. Poor

I called Sky but the AI can only text me a link and that link goes back to the same spot do endless loop. At least they should have a public status page, or a web form to allow logging an outage. No idea why they like to use chatbot which is essentially useless

"we're sorry you can't connect". Pls call us on 03442 411187".....no mention of the fact it's shut! Or indeed the opening hours to save you the trouble of calling....

The best is with this forum or else I really feel hopeless. At least it's now on a national level so it's likely some core switch issues rather than my last mile fibre being cut LoL

I could be wrong but I would guess it won't be fixed until business hours or after 8am. Reason being some night shift clown has trolleyed a segment of the network and doesn't know how to fix it.

The checker seems to be back up for me. Says no issues in my area! What a joke

That happened last week when some one severed a fibre cable between gravesend and greenhithe which overlapped an outage in hemel hempstead and swathes of england. I am waiting to see which areas remain down after a few hours in order to send this link to our community managers

Notified community manager anyway as this is so widespread and exceeds normal maintenance timescales

Please could you get someone to call me and run through this with me? You should be able to get my number from my account. There has been a catalogue of errors and I wish to make a complaint. It's looking like I will take this to an ombudsman.
Cheers
