Woke up this morning to no internet but there are no reports of it being down through down detector etc yet the app says there is a problem in my area. Can't work from home or control my central heating as everything is through the wifi.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Ritzcrackerz if there is a localised issue it may not get picked up by Down Detector. You will have to be patient while Openreach sort the issue nobody can give you anything other than a guess of how long that will take
. Hopefully your heating can be controlled locally either on the boiler or thermostat if it can't it is not fit for purpose as 24/7 connectivity is not something anyone can guarantee.. Unfortunately working from home does not get you any priority as you are buying a domestic line around 85% of faults are fixed within two full working days of the report which would in your case be by midnight on Monday. After which you will be due compensation see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com
