Internet slow even I shifted from 500 Mbps to 1 gb
Hi Team,
I have shifted from 500 Mbps and 1 gb, however still internet speed is below 100 Mbps when I am doing internet speed test. Could you please help to fix this issue as earliest possible. This is affecting my daily office work.
Thanks,
Gomathi

Re: Internet slow even I shifted from 500 Mbps to 1 gb
@Gomathi increasing speed to your Sky hub will not result in a corresponding increase in spedds between the hub and your devices if tgey are limited bybthe wifi signal strength in your home. To take advantagecof your increased bandwidth you need to also invest in an imoroved home network.
Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.
Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.
