Internet keeps cutting out intermittently but when i rest it it says all ok

I have done all the tests for my broadband but it has been cutting out and reconnecting since yesterday . It says on the app that it is all running fine but still has issues

Mine is doing exactly the same since late last night even though the website says that there's no issues in my area either.

It's annoying as it's impossible to get hold of sky to tell them this - no chat / phone number. It all tells you to do the test on line . Really frustrating! Trouble is we have no phone signal as rural area so we can't go on line if the WiFi plying up 😞

Mine has been doing this for 3 days, says all fine on the test, but no broadband at all, I can't connect anything. I've had to book an engineer to come out, I can't put the number on here as it will not let me ! No help online at all, the chat bot just sends you in circles.

Mine too, frequently dropping out over teh last three days even though when checking, it says all ok

mine has also been disconnecting and reconnecting over 3 days in warwickshire and sky hasnt done anything!! yet willing to take my £140 a month which is extortion!

@mightus that is unexceptable customer service! Log a complaint.

I have just cancelled everything with them, luckily I was out of contract.

General point it is not that difficult to get hold of Sky to report issues. Their phone numbers can be found by following through a help journey online to the end or using the contact us links on each web page. Like all companies they want customers to use the online resources first. If you are impatient simply Google Sky Customer Services but only use a Sky number which starts 03 its better to use the numbers from the site as they help,route you to someone who can help with your issue.  Alternatively if its working dial 150 on a Sky Talk or Sky Mobile line for a free call.


When you call the IVR system will try to route you back to using an online resource simply dont accept the offers of texts etc stay on the line saying something like your calling to  "report a technial fault". Call waits are rarely as long as the system says assuming that is something big isnt broken somewhere causing 11 million Sky customers to pick up the phone.
