Hi how can i actally talk to someone as my internt just cuts out every hr or so the amber light comes on the router then 5 mins later it works again

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Mark-Rider you can call Sky and talk to one of tgeir customer service agents. Lines are fully open from 8am to 9pm and some cover is tgere from 7am to 10pm but you will need to be patient and not accept the bot's offeres of texts etc simple say report a technical fault usually works,
However if you run the connection test in the My Sky app while the connection is up the system can book an engineer if it finds a fault which is quicker and easier. Click to run the test again if the first result says everything is fine.

Just browsing then goes off line the amber light flashes for about 4 mins then come back up.
I can just set a continuous ping up and nothing else and you can see it go down.th3n come back up again
Open reach checked the line saying it's ok
But can only be the line

Can one try disconnecting all devices from the Sky router and then see if the broadband line continues to drop on an hourly basis?
