Internet drops out on other devices whenever streaming on puck

Hi there. I have Sky Stream puck connected to the black Sky router via ethernet cable (and with wifi turned off in the puck settings). All other devices (computers, phones) are connected to the router via wifi.

The wifi and internet connection is fast and reliable - until someone starts streaming on the puck, at which point all other devices lose internet connection. The only solution is to stop streaming in order for the internet connection to return on other devices (which happens immediately). 

Can anyone offer any suggestions or advice please?

@hristover What package speed wise do you have from sky? Your other devices on the wireless wi-fi is the connection still live on those but the just don't get the data throughput?

@JimM1 Thanks for the response. We have Full Fibre 150 and get around 150 up / 10 down on a speed test. And yes, the other devices are still connected to the wifi network - the internet connection/data is what goes down immediately, and returns immediately when streaming stops.

@hristover Have you tried the power off for 5 minutes as a reset to the sky Hub, have never known a sky Broadband Hub, to not service both wireless/wired at the same time, but does look like that is what is happening, Ethernet up and giving it all, wireless taking the back seat and not doing anything!

Think your FF150 package is 150Mb/s down and 30Mb/s up ratio!

@JimM1 I've tried powering off a few times but will do for five minutes to see if that helps, thanks.

And just to add that I've also tried connecting the puck by wifi only (removing the ethernet cable) and the same issue remains.

@hristover Try running the speed test below, you will get detailed info returned for the download and the upload paths!

This also may be handy if you do need to try and look at the hub if at all possible when it's streaming!
