Was working from home this morning and internet was working fine until 1130. Since then it has been off for most of the day. Done the test and it says everything is fine but it clearly isn't. Have followed all troubleshooting steps and issue remains.

Same here! Appreciate theres a storm about but my issue is that Sky saying service is fine!

I am in chat just now but service is pretty awful. Someone saying they can't reply as will be away from desk for half an hour.
They can't say if issue is weather related and can't book engineer as our broadband due to be upgraded on Thursday and engineer coming out then.

I live i Bean, Dartford Nd the Internet has bee down for about 30 mins now with no words from sky about this erractic service.
We live on internet in my house as everything is serviced thru wifi, its as if we are ba k to stone age where we go out and count stars .

Same here and yep same lame response from Sky saying everything fine after doing the check 🙄
clearly wrong and mugging everyone off.
SKY give your customers what they pay for which isnt the excuses you constantly give...

Mines been down all day! Yet Sky is saying there isn't an issue.... well there flipping is SKY!!! There should be some kind of compensation here as they are not providing the service we pay for..

We're getting an error on app saying 'Your Sky Broadband isn't active just yet'
That to me suggests Sky have disconnected it before our upgraded contract comes in to play on Thursday

@Mimsabi53 There is compemsation for total loss of service, its called the automatic compemsation scheme and it pays a daily rate if the issue isn't fixed within 2 working days, you have to register the fault with Sky first though.

Same here every day it goes down for around 15- 30min a few times a day but yet service status says all is fine.. not really good enough for the cost.

@Dirtyduds Are you on gigafast? Cause the weather wouldn't really affect that, completely agree with you though Sky saying everything is fine on there end it's all you ever get off them and then normally blame it on a faulty router, I've had had issues for months, internet going off router rebooting, hopefully getting to the bottom of it, fingers crossed

no I'm on 'superfast' (apparently but not this weekend by a long shot🙄)
have done the service checker via the app but SKY saying no issues at all!
it is however showing a 20 mbs speed today and is saying it's speed to the hub is poor as it's usually atleast 38mbs usually.
thing is I already know it's slow! So SKY
pointing it out isn't solving anything, I just want it fixing 😩😩

@Dirtyduds just stay on superfast matey, gigafast is great (when it works) but had alot of problems with it and had it over a year now, hopefully my router doesn't reboot itself so I can watch the Man U Liverpool game upstairs on the mini box since the missus is hogging the main TV downstairs 😆 pay an absolute fortune for it, it should never go off

have just tried another router but same issue so defo an outage somewhere along the line, can't watch movies so good luck with getting the match on mate, 👍
