My connection goes down most evenings around 9pm - WHY?
I know people say its 'maintenance' but I'm sorry - surely Sky do not do maintenance virtually every night.
I need an explanation please.
I am even considering moving suppliers it is so predictable when it is going to happen!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Rosie865427 it is definitely not maintenance at 9pm so needs checking out.
One of the most common issue is WiFi interference from your neighbour's networks which will increase at peak times. This is highly likely if you live in a flat etc. Rebooting the hub can helpmas that forces the hub to find the least congested channelsbut the longterm solution is better wifi kit. However there can be other causes somthink about what else happens in your home at the sametime as running a microwave can knock out the connection if the oven is faulty
Shifting isp is actually highly unlikely to help as these issues are very rarely caused by issues in Sky's network they are either in your home or in the Openreach line. If you have a black Sky hub please post the connection stats taken when the connection has been OK for a while see Sky Hub statistics
