Internet Connectivity Issues

Hi,

 

We seem to be having connectivity issue. The internet doesnt drop, but will cause issues with games and streaming. In the router log, the router seems to be renewing its IP address alot.

 

Any help would be great.

 

Please see below for the Router Log and Stats. I have had to edit the log, as the forum wouldnt allow me to paste in with all the same dates and times.

@rogue1216 nothing apparently wrong with the stats you are on a very short line with your hub connecting at 80Mb/s down and 20Mb/s up. The log looks a little odd perhaps someone can comment on the ACS events as they esacapeme. The IP address renewals are completly normal and are background events.

 

There have been a number of reports of DNS issues etc recently which might be affecting you. The cause is thought to be the server you are using to connect to Sky's network being faulty. There multiple units at each location so powering down your hub for a few minutes should force a change to your public IP address and hopefully connect you to a server that is working properly.

Thanks for you reply, i just thought that the amount of times the router is renewing the ip was a bit suspect.

 

Any ideas about TR69 ACS messages?

 

Yeah, we are almost next door to the local exchange.

That is the router reporting back to Sky
