Intermittent loss of connection between sky box and router

I keep getting an intermittent loss of connection between my router and sky box. It's been happening for quite a while. 
Everything else stays connected. 
Following the on screen instructions is pointless, it's doesn't work. When I turn off my router and switch it back on again everything reconnects and works as normal. This happens sometimes two or three times a day.

@-sick  Which platform is this? Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky stream??

I have a sky Q box. That keeps disconnecting itself from my wi fi. Then I get a message on screen asking to follow on screen instructions to reconnect. The on screen instructions don't work. 
To reconnect you have to switch off wi fi and switch it back on again. 
Once wi fi has rebooted it all works fine.

@-sick What sky hub do you have to go with the Sky Q box, Black SR203 or the White Sky Max SR213?

@-sick At least you have the better combination with the Sky Q sat box and the SR203 hub, take it that you have the Q sat box wi-fi connected to the SR at present when it holds the wi-fi signal?

How far apart is the Q sat to the SR hub?

Yes, when it's connected all is fine. For some reason it just randomly looses it's WI-FI connection. It's not a big problem, it's more of an inconvenionce. It only takes a few minutes to restart everything. But when Sky box looses connection everything else connected stays connected.

@-sick So sky Q sat box stuffs up and does lose it's connection back to the Hub but it is 100% ok as everything else is fine?

Not a Q person anymore got rid off years ago, does the Q allow a selection of 2.4 or 5, would try using 2.4Ghz only as should send the wireless signal from the Q to the SR as a slightly more stronger signal. If not then you may just have to put a booster inbetween both to strengthen the wireless signal or powerline to network the SR to the Q via the Ethernet ports.
