So I have now moved the router to a new location, have a new cable between router and ONT, and only have 7 devices connected directly to the router, 3 of these are ethernet (hive, xbox, and deco mesh) the other 4 are a sky q box, a Samsung phone and 2 apple devices.
I am still getting the same drop out fault, the Sky help team are insistent that the issue is with my network and not with any of there equipment.
But we have eliminated all ethernet devices.
Can somebody offer me any more assistance? Or advise me wher I stand regarding my contract? If I was to try another broadband supplier and I don't get same issue it would prove an issue with sky equipment,
Alternatively can I use an aftermarket router? Eliminating it being a sky router issue?

@pgonnella have you had any joy fixing this issue?
26 Oct 2023 05:24 PM
still happening every so often, i have a unifi system with a 4g backup. when it happens I remotely reboot the sky router and eventually boom back online !!!!!!
26 Oct 2023 05:32 PM
@pgonnella unfortunately I have no mobile signal at home so can't rely on a 4g back up, I currently have the router plugged in via a smart plug, which is connected to my neighbours router, so I can turn router on and off remotely but that is not a fix.

Don't disagree my friend, but that's the reality at the moment. SKY must know this is a known problem !
26 Oct 2023 06:24 PM
@pgonnella How long have you had your fibre connection? Is it recent and new with sky?
26 Oct 2023 06:47 PM
Recent and new, migration from FTTC

Seems very coincidental that we have very similar symptoms, from a similar connection type, with different home network setup, but not a problem with sky's end??
26 Oct 2023 07:54 PM
obviously, there is an issue on their end!

Awakening this old post up again.
After going through the systems numerous times by sky, they decided that the fault had to be with my home system and they were unable to help.
We have just lived with the issue as it became less frequent (once or twice a month).
My contract is due to expire soon, unless the problem is resolved I will be leaving sky.
Has anybody reading this had the issue and resolved it?
I have changed the home system setup numerous times without the fault changing, I am now under the impression that the problem is due to something in my system clashing with the sky hub, (that's providing all the info I have from sky is true)

For anyone that stumbles on the forum with the same issue, I have rectified my issue by leaving sky. Having changed broadband supplier I have had no issues since.
