Hi all,
I've seen a thread (now closed) alluding to this, and many people have purchased a TP-Link Archer C80 to use specifically to replace the supplied hardware.

I have this unit, and generally the internet connects fine, however I find that some apps (bbc news, sky sports score centre, apple news, etc) take either an age to load or dont load at all. This only happened since moving from BT, the rest of my hardware is the same, including the C80 which used to work flawlessly.
I've heard about people obtaining beta firmware? Did this fix the issue? I'm running the latest official firmware currently I'd hope issues noted in 2021 onwards were wrapped up in.
Any assistance or advice welcome, and current settings attached to demonstrate the configuration as it stands (Internet is set to Dynamic IP BTW). Thanks in advance!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI've not heard about this issue before unless it was related to Sky Shield but that would only be in effect if you were using the Sky hub.
If you are looking for some sort of beta firmware you'll need to query TP-Link not the Sky forums.
