When the external box is fitted (assuming openreach follow the old copper ductwork) it may be some way away from where the router is currently or a new one should be placed. Do openreach run cable from the external box round the outside of the house to where the ONT should go (i.e. adjacent to the router in the house) or do they expect sky to do that. In other words who owns the connection up to the ONT, and can I as the cusotmer determine where the ONT has to go to suit my needs not where the old copper connection came in to the house? Really appreciate getting this point clarififed before I commit to ordering as I think there is a bit of a cable run required on my property for it!
