Incorrect telephone line connection to supply broadband.

When SKY took over as provider of my Broadband from BT.  They connected to the wrong telephone line coming into the house.  Previously when with BT I had issues with internet speeds often business meetings would be interupted by slow speeds.  So BT investigated and found a slow line coming in on a  telephone line.  They noticed I had another tel line coming in that hadn't been used and was a clear line.  They connected to it and hey presto very good connection.  I in a rush of blood thought I would save some money by going to SKY broadband.  Unfortunately SKY connected to the slow telephone line input to the house.  So my broadband is slow as a result.  Can SKY either connect to my other input line or supply me with Fibre.  It's incredibly difficult to get you to quote on an upgrade to Fibre because for some reason my broadband account isn't being ackknowledged properly online at MySky.

@Vicar21825 Explaining as you are on the Forum hope you are aware it;s not sky you are talking too, that is a call conversation that you need with them and for the OR Engineer to sort out connection wise which personally i cannot see, if they did not visit your home you still have the same pair off wires! Use the OR Fibre checker to see what is available to your address below!

Re: Incorrect telephone line connection to supply broadband.

When there are more than one line going into a property sky has no way to select which line it taken over or activated, it's pure luck

in Order to take over the correct line you would need a provider that uses openreach me systems direct to place and order so that they can select the specific line location and details

as far as I know only bt offer this option as that was what I had to do when I lived in a rented house with 3 separate lines going into it
