Hi guys,
Was wondering if you could help.
I work from home and as such have to connect to my work provided PC through a VPN for security. But my bosses and IT team have advised there must be an issue with ISP as I have results showing that my modem is not connected to the network whenever I enable it.
the job has multiple back up VPNs and I get the same result with all of them and it's impacting my ability to do the job.
I've ran speed checks and IP tests and all should be fine. I've done the usual turn everything off and back on again stuff and also nothing.
My safe browser features are turned off.
Am I missing something obvious?
thanks in advance 🙂

Just something I realised I didn't add. It's connected via an Ethernet ran directly from the router to the PC. And it's in the same room, maximum a few metres away.

One thing to check is whether your broadband shield is switched off?

Hi James, thanks for getting back to me.
the work IT team keep saying it's an issue with Sky and Sky keep saying the opposite so I'm getting pulled in both directions.
my shield is not disabled, you think it's worth disabling it even temporarily?
