I see some old posts similar to this topic, but I didn't see a definitive answer. Plus they're a bit out of date so I'm looking for recent experiences.
We're moving home and no one will be at the new home for the few days before our broadband activation date. I'd prefer to not change the activation date to avoid living in the new place for ~3 days without Internet. We work from home.
I understand the courier will require a signature. If we're not home, what happens next? Will we need to collect it at a depot or re-schedule the delivery?

I think worst case scenario it would take me a week to pick it up since I'm currently living far away from the new address.
Any idea how long the local PO will keep it?
